Firedance Dogwood is more compact than the species and has a more uniform habit. White flowers in spring are followed by pretty white berries that are attractive to birds. The foliage turns a nice red-purple color in fall followed by red stems in winter, giving multi-season interest. It is tolerant of moist conditions, is suitable for rain gardens, and good on slopes to hold soil in place.
