Can I overwinter a Strawberry Vanilla Hydrangea tree in a large pot outside or will they have to be brought inside?

To be on the safe side, bring your Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea tree inside a garage to overwinter.

If you want to try outside, you could wrap the container and part of the trunk in a chicken wire base and fill it with mulch and fall leaves. That will keep the roots warm. However, it will also give rodents a place to stay warm in the winter!
