Do I need to cover my plants in early spring?

Do I need to cover my plants in early spring?

The highs and lows of Spring weather can be hard on plants. Whether or not to cover the plant, depends on how far along the new leaves are.

If there aren’t any leaves, there is no need to cover it, but if there are leaves, you can cover it with a sheet or a trash bag. If you use a trash bag, be sure to take it off the next day before it gets too warm because the leaves may burn. The good news, most plants have a second set of leaves and will be ok.
