I’m glad you are adding some Purple Magic to your garden! It’s nice to have some flowering plants that love hot summers. For planting, I usually just pop the plant out of the container. If it is rootbound, I will take a knife up the sides in a few places to break up the roots. Avoid shaking the plant because you don’t want risk breaking the top off from the roots.
