I'm having trouble growing cinnamon girl dystillium. Do they prefer acidic soil?

It’s always good to know when a plant prefers acidic soil.

Cinnamon Girl and other distyliums aren’t that fussy but do better when the soil has a slightly lower pH. Soil tests are inexpensive and can help with deciding what kind of fertilizer your plants need. Not enough water might be the problem instead. Regular deep waterings are important if rainfall isn’t getting the job done. And, they need to be watered through the winter.
