How far apart should I plant Crapemyrtles?

That’s a tough one to answer.

The mature size of a crapemyrtle generally depends on how cold the winters are. Purple Magic can mature between 6-10’ x 6-10’. In a Midwest garden, they might mature closer to 5’ each summer since they will probably die back in the winter. In your area, they probably will mature the larger size. If so, plant them about 4’ apart.
