I HAVE A HILL COVERED IN JUNIPER AND WANT TO RE-LANDSCAPE WITH LOW MAINTENANCE SHRUBBERY. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

Sounds like you have quite the project on your hands!

Though digging out the old junipers will be a chore, the hill is going to look so pretty when you re-landscape it. I would start with a few Spring Lace Viburnum as the backdrop. Include a Baton Rouge Dogwood or two. The redtwigs will look beautiful in the winter. Electric Lights Azaleas are easy to grow and have bright spring flowers. Be sure to save a spot for a hydrangea or two. Jetstream Oakleaf is just a gorgeous plant spring through fall. With or without flowers, I love it. Vanilla Strawberry is another favorite with its red stems and colorful flowers. There are so many wonderful hydrangeas and your spot is idea. I hope you keep some of the hollies. They are nice to have year-round.

Hope this helps!
