Oh no!

Rose of Sharon is also a shrub called hibiscus. Generally, they are easy to grow. They like sunshine and water when it is dry. After a number of years, when sections die out, it might need to be rejuvenated. To do that, cut it back about 2/3 in the spring to force new branches. First, do a check to see if insects are a problem. If so, a garden center can help with products to treat them.
