I’ve noticed in my garden that hydrangea flowers turn brown when I forget about watering and the weather turns hot.

Yes, go ahead and trim off brown flowers on your Strawberry Sundae® Hydrangea. The plant will look better. With regular moisture, new flowers will come out creamy white and then turn to strawberry red when the night temperatures cool in the fall.
