I have a summer cascade wisteria. Do I cut it back for the winter or leave the vine on the trellis? Also how do I get it to bloom next summer?

Thanks for asking!

It’s best to prune your Summer Cascade Wisteria in late winter and leave just a few buds per stem. By pruning off the side shoots during the summer, you can redirect the plant’s energy into blooming. Hopefully, these tips will get you more flowers next year.
