I live in Yukon and planted 2 Amber Jubilee Ninebark shrubs this summer. What do I need to do to prepare them for winter?

You have some cold winters in the Yukon!

Fortunately, Amber Jubilee Ninebark is a tough plant and can handle it. Leading up to winter, be certain your ninebarks have been watered well. You don’t want them to have dry roots as they can easily freeze. Pack in mulch around the base of the plants too. That will help keep the ground temperature and roots warmer through winter.
