Definitely plant serviceberries!

Standing Ovation has wonderful fruit. If you can get to it before the birds, be sure to fix serviceberry muffins. It matures 15’ x 4’, the size of a large shrub or small tree. Will you have a place for a vine? If so plant Autumn Revolution Bittersweet. You are fortunate to be in a warmer zone and can plant Purple Sunset Pomegranate. It matures 5’ x 4’. Your space is ideal for Wildfire Winterberry – don’t forget to plant a male winterberry to pollinate it. It matures 6-7’ x 8’. Another great plant for songbirds and winter interest is Cayenne Dogwood, matures 6-8’ x 8-10’. I know you said large, but think about adding snowberry and coralberry to the landscape.

Thanks for writing!
