I’m looking for something to provide height for privacy. Will Berry White Hydrangea be a good fit?

Berry White matures about 6/7’ tall.

Is that tall enough for your garden? If not, ask your local garden center about tree form hydrangeas. That style of hydrangea is usually taller than the shrub form. Shallow conditions aren’t the best for hydrangeas. They really need good, deep soil for the roots. You could try one in a container and then place the container in the garden. Just be certain to water frequently.
