I planted Strawberry Sundae Hydrangeas this spring, but they are white, not pink. Is this normal?

I’m so glad your Strawberry Sundae Hydrangea is off to a good start and flowering!
The flowers open white, turn pink and then mature to strawberry red as the night temperatures cool. Look for this to happen in early to mid-fall.
