I purchased 2 tiger eyes late this fall but I was not able to get them in the ground. I brought them inside before it froze, but the leaves and stems did turn and drop. Will they overwinter inside ok?

Tiger Eyes Sumac are interesting plants.

The “stems” that dropped off are actually part of the leaves. Your Tiger Eyes Sumac should be fine indoors through this winter but be certain you don’t overwater them. Good drainage is a must and water every now and then rather than once a week. When it’s time to plant them outside, give them a chance to get acclimated to cooler weather first since they have been in a warm setting.
