I recently purchased a BananAppeal anise tree. I noticed small holes in the leaves and minute insects, and now the edges of the leaves turning brown. What can I do?

Oh no!

Let's start with the small holes and tiny insects. Mix up some dish soap and water and soak the leaves and plant. That will help smother the insects. If you notice other insects, watch my battling bugs video for more tips.

Brown edges on the leaves might be caused by light watering. Instead, give your plant a good soak once a week. If you gave it a heavy dose of fertilizer when you planted it, that can also cause brown tips. Just make a couple of changes and your BananAppeal should be back to good health.
