My distylium has dried, crunchy leaves even though they receive plenty of water and shade - help!

The weather has been a challenge for my garden too!

It sounds like your distylium has leaf scorch. Common causes are drought, transplant shock and over-fertilizing. It’s best to give your new plants a good soaking every now and then rather than a light soaking every day. Remember, deep watering helps to grow deep roots. Also, try to water the base of the shrubs rather than the tops. I hope these tips help get your plants back on track.
