My gardenia leaves are turning brown, should I trim back?

That’s got to be frustrating!

Was there a sudden drop in temperature? Or, low humidity? Too much water and poor drainage can also cause brown leaves. How do the branches look and do you see any healthy leaf buds? You can lightly trim the tips of the branches and watch for new growth. Also, consider the causes of brown leaves that I listed earlier. And, make changes if necessary to help the plant get healthy again.
