My Light-O-Day Hydrangea plants aren't blooming this year. What am I doing wrong?

You know, I love the variegated foliage so much that I sometimes forget about the flowers!

What kind of fertilizer are you using and what is the NPK ratio? It could be that the fertilizer is too high in nitrogen. Nitrogen helps the hydrangea grow foliage. It needs more phosphorous (the P of NPK) to produce buds and flowers. Here’s a guide to growing hydrangeas that will have other good tips.

Thanks for writing!
