My Tiger Eyes® Cutleaf Staghorn Sumac shrubs are losing their leaves, any advice?

Sumacs such as Tiger Eyes react to being overwatered by dropping their leaves.

They are shrubs that do best in hot, sunny spots with little water. Back off on the watering and leave them in place in the garden. Next year, they should leaf out just fine. And, in a few years will be about 5-6’ tall.
