My weigela plants are not spreading, and have little white spots on them. What can I do?

With shrubs, it seems to take a year or two to get them established before they really put on growth.

First, they grow roots and then grow tops. Weigela naturally has white spots on the branches. If the spots are on the leaves, you should take one into your garden center for advice. They can help you figure out what is wrong and the best treatment.
