One Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea is thriving, while the other is droopy and shriveled. What could the problem be?

It’s always strange when one plant does well and another struggles. Especially, when the conditions seem to be the same.

Have you checked the soil in the container of the one that is struggling? It may be that the container isn’t draining very well. Or, it is simply too dry. Also, check to see if the soil is packed in around the roots. Air pockets will cause problems. If you think it is just drying out too much, add mulch around the base and water more frequently. This should help.
