There are yellow leaves on my newly planted Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea. Any recommendations?

It is probably just pouting!

At the garden center, plants are used to being watered every day. Now, it is in the ground and trying to adapt to a new home. Buds and flowers are a good sign that your hydrangea tree is healthy and getting settled in. You might water a little more on hot, sunny days. If it is out in the open, windy days will be tough and cause the leaves to yellow and drop off. Our planting and care guide has good tips for watering and mulching.
