What are the temperature limits for hollyhocks and hardy hibiscus?

Hardy hibiscus do well in zone 4-9 gardens!

They are perennials and will come back year after year. There are some hollyhocks that will flower the first year. However, for the most part, they are biennials. Expect them to grow leaves the first year. And, the second year, they will flower and set seed. Hollyhocks are a zone 3-8 plant.
