What low-lying, preferably evergreens do you suggest as companion for Vintage Jade Distylium? This spot gets 1-2 hours of overhead sun in July & August.

This sounds like a tricky spot.

Your Vintage Jade Distylium is probably 4’ tall or so. You might need to get a little creative with your approach. Have you thought about growing and hedging an evergreen perennial herb in front of the Vintage Jade? Or how about something that isn’t evergreen but has attractive branches in the winter such as Love Child Sweetspire.
