When is the best time to divide up my Cotton Candy phlox?

What a great time to ask!

Yesterday, I noticed my phlox coming up too! I absolutely love garden phlox. This is a great time to move and divide perennials. If it has been really dry in your area, water first. Dig up the entire clump. Use a sharp knife to cut it in to sections. Be sure to get as much root as possible with each section. Then, replant and water well. Have you explored other plants to combine with phlox? I have a hibiscus, hydrangeas and vitex with mine. I love all the flowers.

Thanks for writing!
