Why are my hibiscus leaves turning yellow?

Yellowing hibiscus leaves probably means they aren't getting enough water.

It takes a lot of energy to grow flowers in the heat of summer. However, yellow leaves can also be a sign of too much water. If poor drainage is problem, they may have root rot.
