Why are the leaves on my Vintage Jade paler this year?

I always think a soil test is a good idea!

Most extension offices and many garden centers have them available. Paler leaves this spring could be a sign that the distyliums are dry and need a good watering rather than a problem with nutrients. Distylium grows best with ample moisture and in acidic soil.
