Creeping phlox is one of those easy-going plants that requires little care. Creeping phlox does best in a spot with full sun and good drainage. That’s why you often see it planted in rock gardens and on hillsides. Is it possible that a rabbit is nibbling off the flower buds? The wrong fertilizer might be a problem. In the spring, give it some fertilizer that has a higher middle number – phosphorous helps plants flower. With too much nitrogen, plants will have great foliage but fewer flowers.
