Will Polar Joy survive the harsh Minnesota winters?

We have found that Polar Joy is extremely cold hardy and will survive zone 4 winters without tipping and burying.

However, it takes a combination of a couple of things. It’s best if Polar Joy is planted early in the season and has healthy, established roots going into winter. Water well before winter and mulch. Frozen, dry roots can be deadly to any plant. Expect to have some dieback with the top of the rose tree and need a little spring clean up.
